Why Choose Shemesh?
Shemesh (sun) is RSY-Netzer’s summer camp, offering a fun and unique Reform Jewish environment that fosters a sense of community, creative prayer, and Reform Jewish values. Participants can form new friendships, explore different ideas, and discover their passions in a welcoming and supportive environment. Most importantly Shemesh is also packed with FUN!
We endeavour to create an inclusive space for young people where everyone feels accepted, has their needs met and are able to be themselves. Our madrichimot (leaders) are passionate, caring, fun, friendly and wonderful role models for our chanichimot (participants), and are all graduates of our year-long leadership programme. The programming on our camps is tailored to each age group so that all our chanichimot (participants) can get the most out of camp!
See last year's Brochure Below
Each camp will still have its own team of dedicated leaders, separate dorms and tailored activities. We will also have the chance to come together to celebrate Shabbat, share some activities and there will be a chance for our older chanichimot (participants) to lead activities for the younger camps.
