Netzafon

A REGIONAL SHABBAT SLEEPOVER WITH RSY-Netzer
Dates: 26th-27th January 2024

What is Netzafon?

Netzafon is a great opportunity for young people in both years 4-6 and 9-10 to have their first experience of RSY-Netzer, or a reminder of all the kef (fun) it involves if they have been before.

This event will offer the chance for individuals to:

      • Be part of a creative and unique RSY-Netzer shabbat

      • Be involved in a range of challenging and exciting activities

    • Enjoy immersive activities focusing on the Netzafon theme “dreams”

Netzafon also encourages participants in years 4-6 to engage with their Reform Jewish Identity, in a fun way and create connections with other young people their age from Reform Communities near them!

Hadracha for years 9 & 10

Participants will be part of all of the above, as well as, being able to enjoy addition of a hadracha (leadership) element.

Learning more about hadracha (leadership) will include:

    • Learning about what it means to become an RSY-Leader
    • Practice new skills with younger participants on Netzafon
    • Joining parts of the main programme as trainee leaders, where setting an example (dugma) will be of extreme importance
    • Building an understanding of how to use their skills within their communities and on future RSY-Netzer events

RSY-Netzer strives to ensure all our events are inclusive for everybody, we ensure everyone is able to partake in all activities on our events, and everyone is comfortable in our environments.
