Israel Tour: Important Information

Application Information

We reserve the right at any stage to change dates, prices and content of our programmes.

On receipt of the initial Booking Form and deposit, you will be directed to fill in a detailed Application and Medical Form online. These must be returned to the office.

Your successful application with be confirmed by email on receipt of the Booking form. Places are allocated on a ‘first-come-first-served basis’. Please note that your place will only be secured once we have received your completed Application and Medical  Forms and they have been approved.

As most correspondence will be via email it is VERY IMPORTANT that you identify the PRIMARY EMAIL ADDRESS to which your user name and password will be sent and then regularly check this email, as it will be the main channel of communication.

Payment

Full payment must be received by RSY-Netzer no later than  27 April 2017. (Invoices will be sent out prior to this date.)

RSY-Netzer offers a £40 discount for every additional child attending a summer event.

Financial Support

RSY-Netzer strongly believes that our young people should have the opportunity to take part in our events. We strive to support this by providing financial support.

Cancellation

If you wish to cancel your place on Israel Tour, you must contact Alyson (ajoseph@rjuk.org) in writing. Deposits are non-refundable from 27 February 2017. If you cancel prior to this date, you will be entitled to a refund less the £175 administration fee. Any participant who cancels after the deposit deadline will be entitled to a refund in accordance with the following:

  • 61 days + prior to departure date: 100% of monies paid less deposit which includes a £175 administration fee.
  • From 31-60 days prior to departure date: 50% of monies paid less deposit which includes a £175 administration fee.
  • From 15-30 days prior to departure date: 20% of monies paid less deposit which includes a £175 administration fee.
  • From 1-14 days prior to departure date: no monies will be refunded.

Family Visits

There will be 2 or 3 opportunities for participants to be visited by their family during tour. Details of location will be available nearer the time. Participants may be visited at this specific location but are not able to leave the site.

Madrichim (The Leaders)

All of our madrachim have completed our leadership course since taking part on Israel Tour as a participant. Through continued commitment to the movement and attendance at a variety of educational and fulfilling events, our madrachim have taken a five year journey of leading in order to be fully prepared for the challenges of Israel Tour. We never stop learning and we always strive to give back to the community – our leaders will look after, entertain and support your teenager through this fantastic experience.

5 January 201 – Deadline for Reform synagogue members Earlybird price

27 January 2016 – Deadline for Financial Assistance forms

13 February 2016 – Deadline for Enrolment Forms and deposit (places are subject to availability and could be filled up before the deadline)

24 February 2016 – Deadline for full UJIA Israel Experience application including medical and welfare forms (completed online, printed out and sent to RSY-Netzer including photos relevant signatures)

2 July 2016 – Compulsory Orientation Day, 1:30 – 6pm in London
